Gazeteci Cüneyt Özdemir, Amedspor'un Süper Lig'e yükseliş hikayesini ve bölgede yarattığı büyük coşkuyu değerlendirerek yaptığı açıklamada şunları söyledi: "Bütün dünya hayretler içinde Amedspor'un küllerinden doğup Süper Lig'e çıkış hikayesini izledi. Amedspor'un bu gelişi kolay olmadı, Süper Lig'e çıkışı, ama Güneydoğu'da büyük bir mutluluk fırtınası yarattığını söyleyebiliriz. Türkiye Dünya Kupası finalini alsa bu kadar sevinç olur mu emin değilim."
